In a discussion about some of the greatest and most challenging games of all time, it goes without saying that FromSoftware’s offerings would definitely be a major part of this conversation. However, when talking about the Souls series, most people tend to talk about the Dark Souls trilogy without even mentioning the predecessor that provided the building blocks of the series — Demon’s Souls. Thankfully, this is not the case anymore — Bluepoint Games has done an excellent job of remaking the original Demon’s Souls on the PS3 to allow a new generation of gamers to enjoy this classic. Coming down towards the end of the list, players will find that the Short Sword is one of the better swords in the game. The Short Sword is by far the shortest sword in the game and will require some close combat to get some hits in. It also deals the least amount of damage compared to the upcoming weapons on the list.

It wasn’t until we redefined what a remake was with Shadow of the Colossus on PlayStation 4 that we felt that we could take on the challenge of Demon’s Souls and do it justice. If FromSoftware and Sony were ever to reboot an old IP, Demon’s Souls isn’t even at the top of the list. Second, the camera angle is at its worst when you need it the most. This is nothing new to Souls games, so this probably won’t come as a shock to many of you.
Faith-build players should consider grabbing the Ring of Devout Prayer to gain an extra Faith Spell Slot. Players should consider a Dexterity build when using this weapon. Adding the Sharp upgrade changes the scaling of this weapon from a C to an S. This weapon also has bleed damage that is useful for taking down those fleshy enemies.
While much of that praise is rightfully reserved for the title’s art direction (which, again, shines brighter than ever in this visual masterpiece), others say that Demon’s Souls features some of the best Soulslike gameplay. Turn to your left to enter the first fog door, turn right and you will find a Fat Official, and loot him to obtain the Iron Ring of Keys. If you turn left after the first illusory wall and attack again, another illusory door will break. This leads you outside in front of the second fog door and behind the Vanguard, you can face him now (Optional). Turn back and enter the fog door, pass the workshop room, turn left and face the mob of Scale Miners. Now take the exit to the right and you are in another tower, head through the fog door on your right.
